Position: Interior Designer
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50-75K, depending on skill and experience
Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or Interior Design


  • 2-5 years experience in interior design at an interior design or architecture firm.

  • High proficiency in Chief Architect, Adobe Photoshop, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides. OR as an alternative to Chief Architect, expertise in another 3D modeling software

  • Great communication skills (clear, proactive, and frequent for both written and verbal) to interface with vendors, contractors, clients, teammates.

  • Obsessive attention to detail.

  • Takes projects from start to finish, requiring only some supervision.

  • Highly organized with ability to breakdown a large project into smaller tasks and sequence the tasks appropriately.

  • Possess great judgement and skill in time management and knowing how much effort and time to put into a task.

  • Real world knowledge of design process, principles, construction methods, and creating detailed construction drawings with proper notation.

  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter who has a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.

  • Curious and not afraid to ask questions, even if you think they’re stupid.

  • Positive, easy-going attitude.

  • Create furniture plans and design concepts.

  • Create architectural models, renderings, and drawings.

  • Create detailed permit and construction drawing sets, including plans, elevations, sections.

  • Design and create construction drawings for custom built-ins and furniture

  • Research specifications required for drawings.

  • Create client mood boards and specifications.

  • Research and select furnishings, fixtures, and finishes.

  • Update client budgets and specifications.

  • Prepare client proposals for approval and purchasing.

  • Prepare, manage and maintain all project binders, files, correspondence, drawings, etc.

  • Assist with installations, coordinate deliveries, and handle post-installation returns.
